emilieI am overjoyed and thankful to be able to teach fifth grade at Immanuel.  God has called us into various vocations- He has called me to teach.

I was born and raised in southeastern Wisconsin, a town similar to Twin Falls, with two younger sisters.  Early in life I knew I wanted to be a teacher in the church.

I attended Martin Luther College in New Ulm, MN where I studied elementary and secondary education. During college I was privileged to student teach third and tenth grade.  After college, God lead me to Michigan Lutheran Seminary as a dormitory supervisor and ninth grade teacher.  Following my time in Michigan, I continued my service at Kettle Moraine Lutheran High School in Jackson, WI teaching ninth and twelfth grade English.

After spending my entire life in the Midwest I met my husband, Nathan, and moved to Washington.  Currently, we are raising three amazing boys.  We accepted a job transfer and moved to Idaho in July 2014.

I am passionate about education and love witnessing the growth of each child.  The school year will be exciting, entertaining and full of learning.

God's blessings,

It is a tremendous blessing to be able to work with you and your children this year!

I would like to introduce myself for anyone who has not met me yet.  My name is Miss Hannah Klumb.  I am originally from Washington State.  I received my B.A. from Concordia University in Portland, Oregon.  My major was Early Childhood and Elementary Education and my minor was Professional Church Work.  For the first four years of my career, I taught a year-round, full-day Pre-Kindergarten class in Lake Worth, Florida.  I had been teaching fourth grade here at Immanuel since 2013, and I am thrilled to teach third grade this year!

My service dog Emmie accompanies me to the school each day.  She is a hypo-allergenic Labradoodle.  Emmie serves as my "Diabetic Alert Service Dog."  The students learn about her in class each year and eventually become experts on service dogs.

If you ever wish to contact me, my email me. (Hannah Klumb) You can also feel free to speak with me after school.

My name is Alicia Reynolds and I am so excited to be your child's teacher this year. I grew up in Iowa and graduated from the University of Northern Iowa with a degree in Early Childhood Special Education and Elementary Education. In 2007 I moved to Twin Falls and met my husband Adam. We have 2 boys, Andryk is 6 and Kasen is 4. We love being part of the Immanuel family.

In 2007 I started teaching at Popplewell Elementary School in Buhl. I taught Special Education Preschool for 6 years, 1st grade for 2 years and this will be my 2nd year at Immanuel Lutheran School teaching 3rd Grade.

Hi! I'm very excited to be a part of the ILS family as one of the First Grade teachers for the 2017-2018 school year.

I am originally from Buhl. I attended school at Clover Trinity Lutheran School and then moved to Buhl High School where I graduated from. I attended Concordia University in Seward, Nebraska where I received my BS in Elementary Education and Early Childhood Education. I took my first call to teach at St. Paul's Lutheran Church and Child Development Center in Mountain View, California were I taught both preschool and kindergarten. I later took a call to serve at Littlest Angels Preschool and Bethany Lutheran Church in Menlo Park, California where I taught pre-kindergarten as well as served in many other ministries within the church. I returned to the Magic Valley in 2015 to be closer to my family.

When I'm not teaching I enjoy being involved in various other activities. I enjoy riding my bike, reading, hanging out with family, friends, and my cat Joiya, gardening, and sleeping. I am blessed to have 2 nephews here in Twin Falls and I have a great time hanging out with them.

I am looking forward to my third year here at Immanuel Lutheran School in first grade. I pray that we all will have a great year growing and learning together.

christy1This is my eleventh year of teaching at Immanuel Lutheran.  I taught two half day Kindergarten classes during my first year and then moved to First Grade.  I truly enjoy teaching First Grade and helping students build a strong reading foundation.

I have been blessed with an interesting and varied life.  Everything from serving as a juror on two trials in Albuquerque, New Mexico (where I lived for nearly 10 years) to learning how to move irrigation pipes after 40. I graduated from The University of Idaho. I have two children who will make a positive difference in this world. I love to go to work most days.  I have learned to trust in God and know that He is always working all things for good in my life.
