vtStudents at Immanuel Lutheran School take the Star Assessments three times a year and their benchmark ratings are published.  Note:  The results are published on the website three times a year, however students are actually tested more frequently in order for teachers to monitor their growth.  These results are shared with parents at Parent Teacher Conferences.

Students in Grades Two through Five take the Star Reading and Star Math Tests.  Students in Kindergarten and First Grade take the Star Early Literacy Test.  NOTE:  Pre-Kindergarten students are tested Mid Year on Star Early Literacy and First Graders are tested Mid Year on Star Reading.  

These tests are administered online in the computer lab.

The Idaho Reading Indicator (IRI) is a state level assessment that is given to all students in Grades Kindergarten - Grade Three.  Students at Immanuel Lutheran School take this test three times a year and the results are published.  The students are tested one on one by Deb Hegman, Immanuel Lutheran School Reading Specialist.
