I am very happy to be in my ninth year of teaching technology classes at Immanuel Lutheran School.  This has been an especially exciting beginning of the school year.  As I have seen each class for the first few times I have been amazed what they have remembered and what their comfort level and skills with the computer have become.  It is truly rewarding!

I have a degree in Elementary Education with a Technology Integration Specialist Certificate.  I spent about 30 years in the general education classroom.  I have taught 7th and 8th Grade English and Math as well as 2nd, 3rd, and 5th Grades in the Bruneau/Grandview School District as well as Twin Falls and Jerome.  I stepped out of the classroom in Jerome and worked in a three year Creating High Performance Schools grant which was funded by the Albertson Foundation to assist in writing district curriculum as well as helping teachers begin to implement the standards.  I then spent a great year working for the Albertson Foundation in this region on beginning to implement the Idaho State Student Management System.  I worked closely with Buhl, Kimberly, Filer, Bliss and Jerome School Districts in teacher training and learning to implement this system.  Unfortunately, although a great idea, the project ran out of money.  I continued to work in Jerome as a Technology Integration Specialist and Reading Consultant until I "retired" about 7 years ago.

After "retirement" I taught technology at Canyonside Christian School in Jerome 2 days a week and continued in Jerome with technology integration, teacher training, and school improvement 3 days a week.

I have spent my entire adult life as a member of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod. I am currently a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Twin Falls, Idaho.

My husband and I have been married for 45 years.  Our life centers around our 8 grandchildren.  We love to include them in camping, riding 4-Wheelers, and traveling.

Again, I am thrilled to be working at Immanuel Lutheran School.  I not only love working with your students and sharing my enthusiasm for technology integration but I have really enjoyed watching your children grow and mature in their faith and willingness to share their love of the LORD.
