Early Childhood

Mrs. Beed - Pre-Kindergarten

ritaI am so excited for the opportunity to spend my days teaching (and learning!) with your children.  I also look forward to getting to know all of you as well!

I was born and raised in Nebraska (GO BIG RED!). My husband Matt and I have been married for 33 years. We have two sons Devin and Dalton.  Devin is married to a wonderful girl & they have blessed us with two amazing grandsons; Jace who is a very excited Second Grader & Jaxon who is a very busy 3 year old.  Our son Dalton graduated from Utah State with a degree in Agriculture and Dairy Sciences & is now employed at Performance Plus of Idaho.

My family moved to Idaho from Nebraska almost 17 yrs. ago. We absolutely love it here...Idaho is now home to us!

This will be my 15th year teaching Pre-K at Immanuel.  My previous experience working with children expands over the past 30 years.  It has included owning and operating my own licensed Home Day Care in Nebraska for 10 years.  I have also been a Sunday School Teacher for various age groups, and Matt & I served as Youth Directors at our Home Church in Nebraska.

My main objective with our class is for your child to have a positive learning experience and to LOVE school!!

Thank you in advance for all of your support, prayers, and encouragement.

 Mrs. Silver - Pre-Kindergarten

sandiI have been teaching at Immanuel since 2008.  I started out by subbing all grades and then taught afternoon preschool.  It was in the following spring that I began teaching both, morning and afternoon classes.  Prior to Immanuel, I taught at Clover Lutheran School in Buhl. I taught 3 - 5 year old preschool and worked in the library.

My favorite part of my job is sharing Gods' love with my students!  I am blessed to come to work here and share Godly values and principles, with everyone I come into contact with.

Thank you for entrusting your children to Immanuel, as well as myself!

Mrs. Ginder - Pre-Kindergarten

ginderThis year teaching at Immanuel Lutheran will be my first year formally teaching within a school system. However, education and teaching have always been part of my life.

While in my first years of college, I taught dance to elementary through high school students. Working with these young students was both fun and rewarding. I hope to bring the joy of movement and music into my classroom.

Reading is a skill that was emphasized in my upbringing with my mother reading to us nightly as children. My husband, Marty, and I are continuing this tradition with our children. Reading allows children to use their imagination to explore the world without leaving the classroom. It is the key to all education and will be a major emphasis in this year’s curriculum.

I am looking forward to working with your children during this academic year.

Mrs. Meyerhoeffer - Kindergarten

micheleI look forward to the opportunity to teach your children. Thank you for sharing them with me.

I have taught kindergarten for over 25 years; and though much has changed about the curriculum and expectations of a kindergarten student, one thing remains steadfast, and that is my love for teaching this age child.

I was born and raised in Twin Falls. I attended school at University of Arizona and Boise State where I graduated with a bachelor's degree in elementary education.

I've been married to Jason Meyerhoeffer for 27 years and we have three boys. We have twin boys Alec and Connor who are 25 and Drew who is 21. Alec has started PA school in Nashville, Tennessee. Connor is in his second year of graduate school this year in physical therapy and Drew will be a junior at Boise State University.

I look forward to a wonderful year of learning, growth and laughter with your child. This is a magical age! Let's enjoy their journey!

 Mrs. Reed - Kindergarten

deyaI am eager to be a part of the Immanuel team, serving my fifth year here. I have taught 1st grade, preschool, and this is my third year teaching kindergarten. I just love it!

I am a native of Mexico City and have lived in the United States for the past 9 years. Before coming to Immanuel , I was an account executive for a local Spanish-language radio station. In Mexico, I taught 3rd and 4th grade classes at a private school before coming to the U.S.A with my husband.

This will be an exciting opportunity to teach again at a school that will not only help prepare our future generations academically, but give them a good religious foundation as well.
