This week our 5th graders participated in the much anticipated tradition of Adventure Days!
They kicked off the 3 day event with a belly filling breakfast at Abracadabra's. Then they went swimming at 1000 Springs. On Thursday, they went zip lining and on Friday, they went to the Twin Falls Zoo, where the kids got to hold a snake! These are days to remember; days that will push our students a little out of their comfort zone and into trusting God in all situations. Philippians 4:4-7 says to rejoice in the Lord always. It's easy to rejoice when we're having fun and everything is good. It can be more challenging to trust in the Lord's promises when things are harder, so even though these Adventure Days are fun and good, for some, there were new and unknown things to try. These situations remind us to lean into God, when things are fun and good AND when they are new and uncomfortable. Have a wonderful week!
